The heat arrived last week, which means sunscreen season is here. I'm committed to being a responsible parent, but I have to admit I loathe sunscreen—it's the ultimate pain in the rear, right behind tooth-brushing. My kids dread being sunscreened, and I dread the battle. Last summer, I was introduced to the best children's face sunscreen ever, and it has truly changed my life. The secret is in the shape: it's in the form of a deodorant stick, which surprisingly makes face application quick and effortless, especially around the eyes. The price ($9.99 at Target) is more than I'd like to pay, but the ease of application makes up for it. I hope this sunscreen stick makes your life better too!
Addendum: The day after posting this article, I was shopping at Costco and was thrilled to see they have The Best Kids' Sunscreen Ever on sale until May 1, 2016. For $12.49, you get two 3 oz. tubes of sunscreen and one sunscreen stick. A great deal, if I do say so myself!
