Wonderful cabin in Arnold. It truly felt like our home for the long weekend. We loved the thoughtful decorations, sleds and snowball makers, sitting on the deck, playing board games and the quality family time in the cozy living room. Taylor is an A+ host and went above and beyond to make sure we were all setup for a great stay. Check-in and out was easy. Location is great for accessing Big Trees, Arnold, Murphy’s, Bear Valley Skiing, sledding Sno-parks (we did all of that). We hope to return this year!

If you’re looking to spend some time in a cute and cozy airbnb surrounded by nature, then this is the place for you. We had an amazing time enjoying all of the amenities that this Swiss style chalet has to offer, including a fireplace, a (very) large wrap-around deck, and a raclette. The views in the surrounding area are beautiful, and the area felt truly tranquil. The place was spotless when we arrived, and Taylor was very communicative and quick to respond. All around, we had a great experience and can’t wait to return!

This place was everything I expected and more! It is located in a beautiful area with lots to do close by. The house was super clean and had all the essentials needed to make our stay that much easier. Taylor was an amazing host and was super quick to reply to any questions I had. Definitely recommend this place and I know I will be back here again!

We had a wonderful snow filled weekend at the Swiss Chalet! The cabin was very clean, and cozy with plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with your cooking needs and even a Swiss raclette grill for a fun, after ski meal. The sleds and snowball makers were also put to good use. The location is great, close to Bear Valley skiing, sno parks, and the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Taylor provided excellent service. She was quick to respond to all of our needs and offered us a late checkout. Our family will definitely be returning to the Swiss Chalet!

Taylor, we made it to the cabin and everything is perfect!

Taylor’s cabin was the perfect escape to the snow for our family of 4. I have two kids (ages 7 and 3) and this was such a spacious and perfectly located destination. We enjoyed sledding and playing in the snow during the day, then returning home and making a cozy fire, cooking dinner, watching movies, and playing with the board games and activities stocked in the cabin. The cabin is located near the tiny strip of shops and restaurants in Arnold and is a short drive to Calaveras State Park. I would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a fun getaway!

Our 3 night stay was great! The cabin was perfect for a ski getaway with our kids, we would definitely stay there again. It was incredibly homey and comfortable. There were games and plenty of fun to keep everyone happy. Thank you Taylor for being a great host.

We had a great time. The chalet is very well stocked and the sleds and snowball makers were a nice touch. Thanks for the Toblerone chocolate bar! We’d definitely like to go back.

We were honored to be the first guests at the cabin! We loved the woodburning stove, it’s homey and seems to slow down life a little. It produced lots of heat. The firelight dancing on the ceiling as we fell asleep warmed me down to the bottom of my heart. The cabin is high up and makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse. During the day we took in the quiet stillness of the trees as we played board games, read, and prepared our meals. The highlight in Arnold itself was Big Trees State Park. The loop at the park pleasant and very informative on the giant sequoias. We can’t wait to stay here again, make another fire, and do more exploring!
